Cydni C. Polk, owner of Xposeur Photography is born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Cydni is a “Creative” with extensive experience in Social Services in the Non- For Profit sector in Chicago.  With an undergraduate degree  in English , writing from Stillman College  and a Masters degree in Nonprofit Management, Fundraising from Spertus College , she has held leadership positions in numerous organizations throughout the city including the Boys and Girls Club of Chicago, Huntington Learning Center,  and currently The Community Builders. Cydni has also been a mentor and volunteer trainer for BGCC as well as Chicago Cares, has been a partner at the Gary Comer Youth Center,  and has lead numerous youth advocacy initiatives throughout the state.  In 2015, without any previous background in photography Cydni founded Xposeur Photography Incorporated, with a focus on Lifestyle Photography because of a passion that was introduced to her as a child by her father. She believes her background in Human Service , and ability to connect with people coupled with an eye for details has helped the company’s success. Since its inception, Xposeur has completed over 350 sessions , including celebrity events, weddings, celebrations, and family portrait sessions. Cydni enjoys working with companies and increasing their marketing for underserved communities.Cydni is the mother of two small boys Drayk and Bryce, and has a Rottweiler named Pharaoh.
